C 1 Colombo Fort

Superb location close to Colombo Fort train station.

First, I arrived late and had to wait about 45 minutes for my room to be ready, only to find that the air conditioning in the lounge and kitchen areas was non-existent. The noise from the common areas echoed throughout the hotel, and despite the staff's attentiveness, they seemed to overlook basic issues that affected comfort and relaxation. My restful stay turned into a constant battle against discomfort and disturbance, unacceptable for a hotel.

The breakfast was tasty with an Omelette station and toasts, as for instance and the restaurant food was good! Greatly enjoyed the location close to the markets as well as the world trade centre. I didn't want to say goodbye and would stay here again.

during my stay, I loved being just a few steps from both the Khan Clock Tower and the picturesque Viharamahadevi Park, making it easy for me to explore beautiful green spaces and local history on foot.

The spotty Wi-Fi connectivity and limited views from the window somewhat detracted from the ambiance, coupled with occasional noise disturbances from the common areas.
